The results have turned out great so far. We ran numerous 9.7’s at over 142mph and then our very best was a 9.68 @ over 143mph… which we backed up with a duplicate run. We believe the JLT was responsible for most of these gains in MPH and ET since our previous best of 9.77 at just over 140mph. The traction was great but could have been better, so I’m continuing to not “slam” the throttle off the starting line with only about a 1300rpm brake torque. 60-foots were in the low 1.4’s and could have been in the very high 1.3s with a little more traction and pushing the car harder on the hole-shot. These numbers were achieved with a full-weight car and no front runners. JLT has jumped into the Hellcat intake market with both feet. We have owned a 2016 Hellcat Charger for nearly a year now and have been testing and designing this kit the entire time.

This kit includes a fully Roto Molded airbox that uses the factory fresh air (Ram Air) inlet from the grille/headlight that also seals to the hood. We feel this is the key component that puts our kit well above the rest. Not only does this box help keep inlet air temps down by blocking the filter from hot engine heat, it also helps hold in the cool air getting rammed in from the inlet creating a high-pressure area around the filter.

Speaking of the filter, our filter is a custom-built design made by S&B. It has a built-in bell mouth for super smooth and fast airflow as well as huge 1" deep pleats for more surface area than filters that look much bigger.

The intake tube is roto-molded plastic with a huge 125mm for superior airflow and NO heat soak like metal tubes.
With a mouth of 4.5" at the throttle body end, it is ready for any larger throttle bodies that may come in the future.

MAF and IAT adaptor plates
2015/16 Hellcats have a Mass Air Flow sensor and 2017-2020 have an Inlet Air Temp sensor. We designed our kit to work with BOTH. Included in each kit are CNC machined aluminum plates, gasket and stainless screws to adapt to either model year.

HEATSHIELD
Includes new roto-molded plastic heat shield to block engine heat at idle and low speed.

RAIN SHIELDS
Each kit comes with custom-designed and water-jet cut Lexan shields that bolt to the hood grille. Not only do they keep rain from the filter, they allow the cooler rammed air to stay in the box around the filter VS just being pushed out of the grille.

JLT Performance will not be responsible for any damage from the use of the Race filter. Customer assumes all risk!

TESTING
We wanted to do as much testing as possible, so we sent kits to some of the best in the Hellcat business.

Lidio from Alternative Auto did some testing for us with his personal Hellcat and this is what he posted on his Facebook page:

"Before the season ended for us here in MI -- we got the car out in some good and much cooler Fall air, (mid 40*s) and tested out the JLT unit and also benefit from some much cooler air. The results have turned out great so far. We ran numerous 9.7’s at over 142mph and then our very best was a 9.68 @ over 143mph… which we backed up with a duplicate run. We believe the JLT was responsible for most of these gains in MPH and ET since our previous best of 9.77 at just over 140mph. The traction was great but could have been better, so I’m continuing to not “slam” the throttle off the starting line with only about a 1300rpm brake torque. 60-foots were in the low 1.4’s and could have been in the very high 1.3s with a little more traction and pushing the car harder on the hole-shot. These numbers were achieved with a full-weight car and no front runners. All shifts have been at or just over 7000rpm for the entire 2017 season!
With no trouble at all."

    Q: Why did my order arrive in Amazon packaging/a box for another product?

    A: We here at Dfuser strive to lower our carbon footprint by reusing as much packaging from received shipments as possible. We assure you that your product is being delivered as promised.

    Q: My order shipping transit time via Ground Shipping shows 3 Days. Why did I not receive my order in that time frame?
    A: Ground shipping transit time is not a guaranteed delivery. This is based on items shipped from our current location with best time forecasted by the shipping company. Some items may ship from one our many warehouses across the US and can take longer to arrive to your shipping destination. Please use any of the faster methods to ensure your item arrives on time if you have any concerns about the delivery date.

    Q: My order shipping method says UPS, but you sent me a FedEx tracking number. Am I getting someone else's order?
    A: Here at Dfuser we use UPS Ground OR equivalent if you picked ground. Some orders may get shipped via Priority Mail if we determine that you will get your package sooner via that method. If you order something and want 1st, 2nd, or 3rd day shipping we reserve the right to use the carrier of our choice if we determine your package will get there in the same time period.

    Q: My receipt says I was charged for 20lbs of shipping and the UPS tracking number only indicates that a 9lb package was shipped. Why did you charge me for a 20lb package?
    A: Some items are larger than others and we need to enter DIMENSIONAL weight for shipping cost accuracy, especially for larger items that need to ship with express shipping. Carriers such as UPS & FedEx charge by dimensions, rather than weight.

    Q: I received my item and upon opening it, the item is damaged! What do I do now?
    A: First, please DO NOT install the product. Retain all packaging material, the damaged item, and anything else that came with the product. Call us right away so we can start a damaged shipment claim.

    Return Policy

    Chargebacks will be turned over to a collections agency. This does affect your credit rating.

    1. All returns/exchanges must be notified to and authorized by the sales representative within 7 days of delivery. No returns are permitted without an RMA number and authorization by us, otherwise all returns will not be accepted and delivery will be refused.
    2. No returns will be accepted if the product has been opened from original packaging or has been used. No returns will be accepted after 14 days of receipt. ALL returns will be subject to a service charge of 25% restocking fee. Special order and/or custom items are not returnable and/or are subject to 35% restocking fee under our discretion. Original shipping costs to the customer and return shipping costs are non-refundable.
    3. American Express Credit card users will be charged an additional 5% fee if item is returned for a refund or order cancelled after payment.
    4. All special orders and non-stock item returns are not refundable.
    5. All returns must be accompanied by order ID number or RMA number.
    6. Parts must be in new, re-sellable condition, and in their original packing. NO PAINTED OR OTHERWISE ALTERED PARTS WILL BE ACCEPTED OR CREDITED.
    7. REFUSED SHIPMENTS: Any customer who refused delivery of an order will be required to pay the original shipping charges, the additional return freight charges, and a 25% restocking fee or 35% on special order items. These charges must be paid in full before any future orders will be shipped.
    8. Dfuser reserves the right to reject returns on non-defective products. Returns will be handled on a case by case basis.
    9. Items shipped by special delivery or truck freight are not subject to returns. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE. If item is damaged it must be signed for as Damaged upon delivery otherwise it is not eligible for exchange.
    10. Some products may be damaged during transit. Inspect all packages immediately in the presence of the delivery person. Do not sign delivery receipt until all packages have been inspected. In the event that damage has occurred, physically write "damaged" on the delivery bill and have the delivery person sign it as verification. Retain all boxes and other packaging material as package may be subject to inspection by the carrier. Call us within 24 hours to file a claim request. Failure to comply with this policy may result in a denial for damage claim.
    11. Performance chips are not returnable if used or removed from packaging.

    Products manufactured by Dfuser carry a 1-Year warranty against defects in materials and craftsmanship. The Warranty is Limited to one (1) year from the date of sale and limited solely to the parts contained within the product's kit. All products that are in question of Warranty must be returned shipping prepaid to Dfuser and must be accompanied by a dated proof of purchase receipt. Warranty is limited to the original purchaser.

    Under no circumstances shall Dfuser.com, LLC be liable for any labor charged or travel time incurred in diagnosis for defects, removal, or reinstallation of this product, or any other contingent expenses.
